About Suhair A Farhat
Suhair Farhat is an MFA student in Photography Program at the Savannah College of Art and Design: Atlanta. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology in her hometown Saudi Arabia, Jeddah. Her artwork is mostly an abstraction of her Hijabs as a reference to her cultural identity. In 2016 she reached her solo exhibition Sound of Silence in Saudi Arabia and became one of the first Saudis to use historical photographic process, Cyanotype and Van Dyke, in her work.
